After my last windsurfing session my mast was stuck together. I was tempted to use the gorilla method, plain force, but since it is my favourite mast I decided to bring the mast home in one piece. This is how I separated the mast parts from each other.
Bend and rotate the mast repeatedly (Step 1)
Start to bend and rotate the mast repeatedly to crush the sand/dirt. Be careful not to over bend the mast and make shure to distribute the pressure over as much mast-surface as possible.
Windsurfing mast stuck together – Gorilla method 2.0 (Step 2)
If the mast parts still are stuck together the most gentle way to rotate the mast parts from each other is to use two windsurfing booms to get some extra momentum.
